Key Financial Specialist Position

  • Prepare and manage complex financial data, including product costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations to track production costs, identify savings opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement cost accounting frameworks tailored to manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update standard cost systems, accurately allocating overheads and ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Conduct regular product costings, variance analysis, and margin analysis, providing key insights for business planning and decision-making.
  • Support inventory valuation, stock audits, and physical inventory checks, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing essential financial inputs for strategic business planning.
  • Provide cost inputs for pricing decisions, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and relevant regulations, maintaining high standards of financial governance.
  • Facilitate effective communication between finance and operations teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of cost structures, BOMs, overhead absorption, and cost audits. A working knowledge of one ERP system is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • CMA from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
