Business Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Support the FP&A function in comprehensive & timely reporting.
  • Update Budget/Projection Templates, Monthly P&L and Schedules, Budget management in SAP and other MIS/database requirements.
  • Ad hoc accounting/reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly Management reports and schedules, providing insights and summaries to assist decision-making and planning processes.
  2. Collect large data, perform data hygiene/clean-up, mapping, and presentation in excel templates/schedules and ppt.
  3. Examine Actual Financial data for General Ledger (GL), Cost Centre (CC) & Fund usage, spot irregularities and make necessary corrections.
  4. Support Annual Budgeting process & quarterly projections as well as reporting on KPI's (including updating Budget templates).
  5. Update budgets in SAP, monitor variances, and address queries related to budgets.
  6. Assist with Ad hoc accounting and reporting needs of the Finance department as they arise, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving financial demands.
  7. Partner & Collaborate with Finance & other stakeholders daily, fostering effective communication.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements & automation to increase efficiency & effectiveness in reporting and analysis.
  9. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Requirements:

Knowledge / Education: B.Com/ BBA

Desirable: CA Inter/CMA Inter/ MBA Finance

Specific Skills: Interpersonal Skills, Good communication skills, Basic accounting knowledge, Advanced Excel Skills, Attention to Detail, Time Management, MS Office, AI Tools

Desirable Experience: 1-3 years
