A great opportunity has emerged for a detail-oriented individual to join our finance team in India. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to build a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes (processing invoices, preparing payments, and managing receipts).
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly TDS and GST workings and returns.
  • Help in the preparation of vouchers, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny.
  • Support senior staff in the preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
  • Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Handle other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., TDS, GST, bookkeeping).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Tally.ERP 9 or Zoho Books is highly preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance department.
