Capital Markets and Trading Intern Role

This internship focuses on assisting in the development of investment research, multi-asset portfolio creation, and sector-wise allocation strategies.

The role involves tracking and analyzing global equity, bond, and derivative market trends, studying macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and rate cycles, supporting the review of diversified investment portfolios, conducting industry and company-specific research for portfolio inclusion, preparing investment rationales, backtesting models, and risk dashboards, collaborating with senior analysts to draft market outlook reports, and assisting in constructing model portfolios and tracking key performance metrics.

To be successful, you should have a solid understanding of financial ratios, modeling, and macro trends, as well as familiarity with tools like Screener, NSE/BSE, TradingView, and Excel. Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn dynamic portfolio strategies are essential.

You will gain hands-on experience in capital markets, portfolio design, and research, a deep dive into sector analysis, portfolio risk, and investment strategy, an opportunity to earn a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on deliverables and commitment, and access to live mentorship from institutional-style traders and portfolio strategists.
