Job Opportunity: Financial Specialist

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is a pioneering global organization dedicated to transforming the future of energy. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Financial Specialist will be responsible for the overall financial management, reporting, and control functions of ISA. This individual will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial and audit strategies in alignment with ISA's strategic objectives.
  • Provide financial guidance and advice to senior management on financial planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard ISA's financial assets and prevent fraud.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed asset management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS or other relevant international accounting standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in auditing, finance, and accounting roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing robust financial audit systems and implementing world-class financial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or other relevant international accounting standards.
