Outsourced Accountant Job Description

This role is responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, accounting knowledge, credit memos and bank wires, aging reports, expense reports, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable process and Accounts Receivable process.
  • They will possess end-to-end accounting knowledge and experience.

A key aspect of this role is to monitor and report aging of accounts receivables/payables in a timely manner. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring timely preparation and reporting of expense reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable: The candidate will complete tasks related to Accounts Payable process and Accounts Receivable process.
  2. Accounting Knowledge: They will utilize their end-to-end accounting knowledge and experience.
  3. Credit Memos and Bank Wires: They will process Credit memos and apply against invoices (both AP & AR) and prepare bank wires as needed.
  4. Aging Reports: The successful candidate will monitor and report aging of accounts receivables/payables in a timely manner.
  5. Expense Reports: They will ensure timely preparation and reporting of expense reports.
  6. Journal Entries: The candidate will record monthly Journal Entries & Payroll Journals.
  7. Bank Reconciliations: They will analyze and prepare Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet schedules.
  8. Client Deliverables: They will review, monitor, and ensure all client deliverables are met on time with 100% quality.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience: With Accounts Payable process and Accounts Receivable process.
  • Accounting knowledge: End-to-end accounting knowledge and experience.
