Job Summary:

The key objective of the Financial Controller is to oversee all financial operations, ensuring seamless integration and accurate reporting.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting to drive business growth and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to stakeholders.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust inventory systems and processes.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Validate, approve, review, and manage the collection and payment of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for both external and internal customers and suppliers.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Handle inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements, reconciliation with headquarters and subsidiaries.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Audit and Compliance: Act as a point of contact for external auditors, coordinate audit activities across all subsidiaries, and ensure timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate records of all cash transactions.
  • International Payments: Set up and process international payments to foreign vendors.
  • Fixed Asset Register: Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR); verify capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Compliance: Comply with tax laws, ROC, and other regulatory requirements.
