Delivering Exceptional User Experiences

We are seeking a seasoned User Researcher to join our UX team. This individual will thrive in an energetic, agile environment, planning and conducting evaluative research to build deep user understanding and empathy.

  • The ideal candidate will plan and conduct usability studies, card sorts, tree testing, and heuristics evaluations to support generative research efforts for specified products or small program areas.
  • This role involves synthesizing and communicating research findings to cross-functional teams, defining and measuring success, and creating testable hypotheses.
  • The User Researcher will apply expertise and knowledge of research methodologies, human factors, the user-centered design process, and statistics to product and service design in an iterative development environment.
  • Responsibilities include working with design, analytics, product management, customer support, marketing, and sales to formulate and address research questions.
  • This position requires independently and collaboratively planning, executing, and analyzing research across product or program areas, performing qualitative data analysis, and supporting ongoing coding efforts.
  • The User Researcher will also undertake secondary research scans and comparative/competitive analysis.

Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or master's degree in user experience, design, research, business, or related fields; 4-19 years' conducting user research within a UX team for software/web-based products; demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.

  • Quantitative survey programming and analysis
  • UX Research for Meeting/Event Planners, Attendees software
  • UX Research for Mobile app or web development
  • Managing and recruiting a usability lab
  • Developing and executing research in support of product globalization
  • Establishing and/or managing product/software baseline measurement system
