As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering meaningful and impactful experiences for our data operations team. You will play a critical role in creating exceptional products that enable analysts to deliver high-value data and insights to professionals.

You'll uncover opportunities to improve the work experience and efficiency of data analysts through well-designed tools that incorporate AI and other emerging technologies. With expertise in user-centered design and strong business acumen, you will conduct research and analysis to understand customer needs and behaviors.

Develop innovative design concepts and product experiences, leveraging traditional and emerging technologies to bring them to life. In this role, you will partner with product and engineering team members through the entire product lifecycle and engage stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment.

You will own and deliver the user experience in your product domain while collaborating with other designers and product team members to ensure a cohesive overall customer user experience. You will contribute to the direction and planning of your product domain, identifying opportunities to support users and the business while maintaining a strong sense of product ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize user-centered design and systems thinking skills to create solutions for complex data challenges while maintaining a highly usable product experience.
• Conduct user research and data analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivators.
• Partner with product management and engineering team members to develop product strategies and detailed requirements.
• Identify high-impact user problems and define product experience strategy and solutions.
• Develop journey maps, task flows, and design concepts to inform product strategies and priorities.
• Leverage design systems and interaction patterns to consolidate tools into a unified platform.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of design solutions and identify strategies for enhancement.
• Drive continuous improvement in your work and with your product teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human Centered Design, Psychology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a Product Design/UX role, designing for complex systems and products.
• Expert-level knowledge of user-centered design practices and demonstrated experience applying them to deliver end-to-end projects.
• A portfolio of past work organized into case studies that demonstrate design thinking skills and ability to create innovative experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate design decisions and how they add value to the product.
• Experience conducting qualitative user research and analyzing user data to guide design decisions.
• Experience balancing multiple projects, organizing priorities, and delivering with discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with internal operations teams and their workflows.
• Experience working on complex data and productivity solutions.
• Understanding of AI solutions applicable to data workflow experiences.
• Experience working in a large business environment.
