Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and Technical Support:

The successful candidate will collaborate with architects and interior designers to translate design concepts into feasible structural solutions, preparing and reviewing structural drawings, BOQs, and technical documents in compliance with building codes, IS standards, and local regulations.

  • Project Planning and Coordination:

Key responsibilities also include assisting in creating project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates to ensure timely completion, as well as coordinating with the design, PMC, and contracting teams to facilitate effective project execution.

  • Site Supervision and Execution:

Overseeing site works to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards, the Civil Engineer will monitor contractors and labor teams for efficient progress and timely completion.

  • Quality and Safety:

Implementing quality control procedures for construction materials such as concrete and steel, this role ensures safety practices are followed at construction sites and conducts regular inspections.

  • Quantity and Cost Control:

Preparation and verification of material quantities for procurement to optimize costs, checking contractor bills and certifying measurements for payment processing are essential tasks in this position.

  • Client and Team Communication:

The successful candidate will assist in explaining technical details to clients in coordination with architects, acting as a bridge between the office design team and on-site execution team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in software applications related to civil engineering, such as CAD and GIS. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
