Job Title: Senior Accountant

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts, including assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including financial statement preparation and general ledger maintenance.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with Regulations: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus.
