System Engineer Leadership Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Unix server administration, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting of large-scale infrastructure.

  • Administering and managing Unix servers involves installation, configuration, migration, performance tuning, security, failover, and load management responsibilities.
  • Management of Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management systems is also required.
  • Scripting solutions using Shell, Perl, Python, and other languages should be developed and implemented to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Maintenance of virtualized environments, storage, and network infrastructure is a key aspect of this role.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Unix server administration is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux administration, Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Shell, Perl, and Python, is essential.
  • Experience with VMware platform, incident management, change management, and ITIL framework is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
