Job Overview

The Senior Oracle Exadata Database Administrator will be responsible for the effective implementation, configuration, maintenance and performance of critical Oracle RDBMS systems including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This is a hands-on role requiring solid technical skills cloud migration experience and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous engagement with assigned clients
  • New customer onboarding administration and maintenance planning
  • Ensure continuous communications in a consultative approach
  • Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata systems
  • Manage Oracle databases on OCI including provisioning patching backup and recovery
Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of production database support
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems
  • Experience with Oracle RAC ASM and Grid Infrastructure
  • Experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
Additional Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard
  • Experience with ERP systems on Oracle databases (JDE/E1 preferred)
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Experience working in UNIX Linux and Windows environments
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred
