Point of Sale Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Point of Sale (POS) integration specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail Technology and a proven track record of designing technical solutions that ensure seamless integration with omni-channel systems.

About the Role

This is a critical role within our agile framework, where collaboration and delivery of business initiatives are key. As a POS integration specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, build business cases, and ensure production data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the POS application.
  • Build business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Ensure production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.
  • Build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, not limited to POS.
  • Automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to get meaningful KPIs.
  • Understand the architecture of applications and the technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff.
  • Analyze real/actual data for business reporting, project decision-making, and production issues troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
