As a senior-level professional in our indirect tax department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless business operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve all aspects of GST and other indirect taxes.

  • Prepare accurate tax computations after adjusting for tax credits.
  • Finalize eligible input tax credits based on data shared by clients.
  • Coordinate with clients to discharge tax liabilities in a timely manner.
  • Submit GST returns promptly, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on day-to-day GST and indirect tax queries for clients.
  • Analyze relevant GST updates and communicate critical information to clients.
  • Conduct compliance data analysis, resolving client queries efficiently.
  • Compile and file GST/IDT registration and surrender applications accurately.
  • Develop templates for compliance, seeking necessary information from clients' business and operational models.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the GST/Indirect Tax department and other teams.
  • Maintain compliance data in retrievable formats, ensuring GST compliance at all times.
  • Send regular compliance MIS/Tracker reports to clients.
  • Develop expertise in Microsoft tools and technology, as well as familiarity with accounting software like Tally/SAP/Oracle.
  • Assist the team in internal matters, including billings and risk compliances.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a degree or diploma in finance, law, or a related field.
  • Possess 3-6 years of experience in indirect taxation.
  • Demonstrate good technical knowledge and clarity of concepts.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Display persistence and persuasiveness in handling client interactions.
