Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead our team in US tax return preparation for Not For Profit organizations.

This role requires a high level of expertise in tax laws and regulations, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Performing manager-level reviews on US tax returns for Not For Profit organizations;
  2. Monitoring changes in tax rates and laws, and applying them to our tax return preparation process;
  3. Overseeing quality assurance for projects handled by the team;
  4. Identifying technical issues and presenting recommendations to engagement teams;
  5. Managing large engagements and coaching team members on technical concepts;
  6. Serving as a subject matter expert and conduit for knowledge sharing;
  7. Participating in and leading technical forums with the partnership team;
  8. Developing content and conducting trainings for the partnership team;
  9. Cultivating professional relationships with US engagement teams;
  10. Leading the team and managing their performance, guiding and coaching team members.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong accounting knowledge;
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills;
  • Aptitude for learning technology (proprietary tools);
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills;
  • A process improvement and knowledge-sharing mindset;
  • Experience working in cross-cultural business settings;
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office suite and experience with GoSystem.
