Job Title: Senior Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our team.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior tax professional to lead engagements, manage client accounts, gather and evaluate client information, generate tax compliance products and ensure quality. As a point of contact for the engagement(s), you will serve as a counsellor for assistant managers and be responsible for client accounts, meeting deadlines and filing requirements.

  • Responsible for client accounts;
  • Ability to get the work completed within client deadlines and meet the due dates for filing;
  • Assists the Assistant Manager with their queries and clarifies their questions;
  • Communicates directly with the onshore engagement teams / clients.

You will also develop, mentor and supervise advanced analysts, tax seniors and assistant managers, while adhering to practice protocols and internal processes consistently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to effectively delegate to all levels of staff/seniors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate or Post Graduate in Finance with at least 4-6 years of experience;
  • CPA qualification is an added advantage;
  • Sound knowledge in the taxation of U.S investment partnerships tax, securities analysis, partnership tax allocations, review of Schedule K-1, Form 1065 and various state returns;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong leadership and executive presence;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members;
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
