Job Opportunity: Senior Tax Operations Specialist

A challenging role has become available in our team, where you will be responsible for managing and supporting all operational tax processes for various businesses. As a key member of the Tax Operations team, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day processing and deliverables for operational tax processes including Withholding Tax, Relief at Source, Reclaims, reporting, payment, and reconciliation.
* Filing tax reclaims, tax reporting, tax payments, and tax audits.
* Ensuring that there are no misses in any internal/external or regulatory deadlines, ensuring continuous maintenance of relevant Tax data on back office systems.
* Producing Tax MIS and maintaining full audit trails, interpretation of amendments to existing rules and regulations pertaining to relevant tax.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferably CA/MBA/Graduate with 6-8 years of prior working experience.
* Strong knowledge of Tax regulations, particularly financial transaction taxes, stamp taxes, withholding taxes, and claims filing, reporting, and payments.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong time management, organizational, planning, and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task effectively, prioritizing competing demands, sound judgment to meet regulatory standards.
* Proficient in MS Office applications, familiarity with business banking product set an added advantage.
