Digital Application Director

As a Digital Application Director, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing expert advice on application development methodologies and mainframe technologies.
- Collaborate and manage a team to perform and achieve their objectives efficiently.
- Responsible for making key decisions that impact the team's performance and overall project success.
- You will engage with multiple teams and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex problems affecting your immediate team and other teams.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe programming languages is essential.
- Strong understanding of application design and development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience with mainframe technologies and tools is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
