Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team.

  1. Design and implement an organization-wide data collection system, ensuring information accuracy and reliability, and establishing standardized reporting formats.
  2. Serve as a key resource for process improvement teams and departments regarding quality data management and statistical analysis.
  3. Identify opportunities to leverage company data to enhance product and process performance through collaboration with various stakeholders.
  4. Utilize advanced data mining and analysis techniques to drive quality improvements and optimize datasets.
  5. Prepare and deliver regular reports for senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Third or fourth-year undergraduate student in Computer Science or a related field
  2. Proficient in data analysis, data visualization, and data gathering techniques (e.g., API, FTP, Web Scraping) using Python.
  3. Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries.
  4. Proficient in shell scripting and Linux.
  5. Experience with REST APIs is a plus.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in product development.
  8. Understanding of various data structures and common data transformation methods.
