Job Title: Data Insight Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Insight Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data from an analytical perspective, with expertise in SQL and proficiency in working with JSON structures and REST APIs.

This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. You will work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing, designing, implementing payloads/API calls to facilitate seamless data exchange between services/systems.

You will analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required skills include strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, and hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration.

Preferred skills include familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development, knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation, and familiarity or basic experience with BI reporting and open source Charting libraries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing.
  • Design, implement payloads/API calls to consume REST APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between services/systems.
  • Analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Review and understand legacy system code to ensure smooth integration and migration processes.
Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration.
  • Ability to read and understand legacy code.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
