Project Director - Mobile Banking

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the end-to-end execution of our Mobile Banking project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Banking/ Fintech/IT sector and experience in Project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project activities, including meetings, documentation, and risk registers, to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement controls to ensure compliance with Bank regulations, data privacy laws, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and change management activities across departments.
  • Deliver regular project updates and presentations to senior management and steering committees.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate to project needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience in the Banking/ Fintech/IT sector with at least 4 years of exposure to Mobile banking & Internet banking projects / programs.
  • Good acquaintance to Project management tools and Mobile App release mechanisms.
  • Deep expertise in Scrum, with exposure to one or more Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of banking products, digital channels (especially Mobile and Internet Banking) and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide hands-on leadership.
  • PMP /Scrum/Prince 2 certifications preferred.
