Job Description

The R&T Structure Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis utilizing advanced software tools like Siemens Simcenter to simulate real-world conditions
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to analyze complex behaviors under various loads
  • Cultivate expertise in metallic materials, including steel, aluminum, titanium, and their mechanical properties
  • Develop knowledge of composite materials, such as carbon, glass, and sandwich structures, and their behavior under different loads
  • Model and analyze hybrid metal/composite assemblies to optimize design
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to structural calculations, including aerospace and industrial guidelines
  • Analyze and validate simulation results with precision and accuracy
  • Suggest design optimizations based on calculation outcomes and provide recommendations
  • Evaluate modeling assumptions critically and offer solutions
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Siemens Simcenter and other relevant software tools
  • Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and its applications
  • Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines related to structural calculations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
