Accounting Professional Role

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations.

This is a full-time remote role that involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing support for audits. The individual in this role will work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card statements, and loan statements.
  • Budget Preparation: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare tax returns, including individual and corporate tax returns.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for audits, including financial statement audits and compliance audits.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certification: CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
