About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer with deep expertise in cloud-based systems to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide thought leadership and deliver robust, secure, and high-performance data solutions that empower analytics and science initiatives.

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Scalable Data Pipelines: Utilize cloud-based services to create efficient data pipelines.
  • Build and Optimize Architectures: Leverage distributed data processing systems to construct scalable architectures.
  • Work Closely with Stakeholders: Translate stakeholder requirements into technical scripts and provide thought leadership.
  • Implement Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Orchestration Workflows: Integrate diverse sources (APIs, databases, cloud storage) into data pipelines.
  • Maintain Data Quality, Consistency, and Security: Ensure data integrity across the data lifecycle.
  • Leverage Cloud Services: Utilize event-driven architecture, data lake storage, and serverless computing for efficient data processing.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code: Use automation tools for automated provisioning and configuration.
  • Optimize Resource Usage: Enhance performance and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
Required Technical Skills
  • Expert-Level Experience with Cloud-Based Data Services: Cloud-based data platforms, big data processing frameworks, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Strong Proficiency in Query Language: Complex transformations and performance tuning.
  • Advanced Programming Skills: Data pipeline development and orchestration.
  • Experience with Automation Tools: Automated provisioning and configuration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Practices: Efficient deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience with Distributed Systems: Event-driven architecture, microservices.
  • Strong Understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance: Access control, encryption, and auditing.
