Couchbase Database Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Couchbase Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Couchbase databases in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing and configuring Couchbase clusters in production environments.
  • Administrating Couchbase databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implementing backup and recovery procedures to minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Tuning Couchbase indexes to improve query performance and efficiency.
  • Designing and implementing Couchbase architecture concepts to meet business needs.
  • Ensuring security measures are in place to protect against data breaches and unauthorized access.
  • Troubleshooting common configuration issues in Couchbase clusters to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Managing cross-data center replication (XDCR) to ensure seamless data synchronization across multiple locations.
  • Monitoring Couchbase database performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of industry experience in Couchbase database administration in production environments.
