Senior Tax Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing complex tax returns, fostering collaboration with colleagues, and developing your skills through client work and industry developments.

About the Role:

  • The primary focus of this position is to review and prepare moderate to complex tax returns prepared by junior associates, demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You will foster strong relationships with colleagues and managers, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for training and assisting junior associates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Enhance teamwork and communicate with teams in India and the US, utilizing your exceptional interpersonal skills and coaching abilities.
  • Provide assistance to managers on projects as requested, exercising independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting.
