Key Responsibilities
  • Independent Tax Advisory Engagements: Manage tax advisory engagements with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and proactive execution and course correction.
  • Tax Opinions and Compliance: Deliver tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters, while managing tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings.
  • Assessment and Litigation Proceedings: Represent clients before assessing officers, income tax authorities, and higher appellate forums, reviewing and drafting responses to audit notices and questionnaires.
  • Team Development and Management: Train assistant and deputy managers and executives for their professional development and create a stronger bench within the team.
  • Tax Technology and Operations: Deliver clients with tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services, and manage internal client codes from time logging to collections.
  • Business Development and Collaboration: Identify new opportunities, mine existing ones, and collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 4-7 years in direct taxation with a strong technical knowledge base.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and conceptual clarity to drive innovation and problem-solving.
  • Communication and Presentation: Effective communication and presentation skills to inspire others and achieve high-quality results.
