Business Manager Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Manager to take charge of business growth, customer relationships and market development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, data collection and strategic offer sending.
  • Sources and purchases plastic resins from reputable suppliers, including PP, PE, PET, and PVC, and sells them to assigned customers.
  • Represents the company at meetings, conferences and international tradeshows to promote products and services.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with resin producers in India.
  • Assists the Branch Manager in monitoring logistics, inventory management and cargo allocations.
  • Conducts market research to gather information on price setting for specific markets.
  • Prepares detailed marketing reports to analyze market trends based on region, season and customer habits.
  • Develops and implements effective marketing strategies to gain potential customers' interest.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India.
  • Ability to work abroad or domestically and attend business trips.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership quality and negotiation skills.
  • Time and task management.
  • Ability to work independently under high pressure and adapt to a flexible work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields. An MBA is preferred.
