Coaching Team Lead

This role involves leading a cross-functional team to achieve exceptional performance and productivity. As a Coaching Team Lead, you will remove impediments, facilitate meetings, and protect your team from external distractions while collaborating with the product owner to ensure a well-structured product backlog.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Guiding your team in understanding Agile practices, Scrum framework values, and processes, ensuring they deliver working software that meets customer needs and reacts quickly to their requirements
  • Transforming the team into a self-organizing unit by reducing management overhead costs using Systems thinking and Lean approaches
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as the process owner for the team
  • Cultivating a safe and continuously improving work environment through people leadership, coaching, engagement, and skill development

Skills and Qualifications Required

You require at least eight years of experience in successful Scrum adoption along with a Scrum Master certification. Knowledge of modern development practices and tools such as extreme programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration is also necessary.

You must have knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Additionally, you should have experience in building a culture of transparency within feature teams by empowering individuals and inspiring collaborative team performance.

  • A background in coaching cross-functional teams to achieve high-performance levels
  • Experience in changing organisational, team, or department mindsets and structure
  • An understanding and experience of applying empirical process control
  • Strong knowledge of the Agile manifesto and its principles
