Senior Project Architect

Job Description

As a senior project architect, you will be part of the founding core team, driving and managing the technical delivery of prestigious architectural projects.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of project oversight, organisation, and client coordination, ensuring delivery to global quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as our client's architectural lead on projects maintaining day-to-day client project contact
  • Be responsible for all aspects of our client's technical service delivery throughout the end-to-end project duration
  • Lead design teams and client meetings, producing detailed meeting minutes
  • Undertake preparation, maintenance, and monitoring of the project design programme
  • Communicate resource needs to account managers and associates
  • Be responsible for creating, updating, and managing project-related financials and resourcing data in the company's internal project management software while the project is active
  • Maintain the project quality control system
  • Monitor financial performance and report back to account manager or responsible associate, raising any issues that may affect the agreed fee
  • Lead contract administration and ensure our client meets its responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, support, and manage teams, demonstrating ability to get the best out of your team
  • Mentor, encourage, and contribute to individual career development
  • Inspire and promote our client's values within the team
  • Ensure teams are aligned with company policies, procedures, and that company standards are consistently met
  • Review, approve, and manage holiday requests, expenses, time off in lieu (TOIL)
  • Communicate important information from leadership and implement procedural changes
  • Participate in recruitment and employee inductions for junior staff
  • Undertake employee reviews and support training, development, and growth of individuals
  • Manage safety and well-being of the team
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, foster empathy, understanding, and effective communication with the team to create a cohesive, balanced, and collaborative team
