Data Annotation Specialist: Enhancing AI Capabilities

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to join our team at Fotello. As a key member of our data annotation department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our AI capabilities by managing, categorizing, and labeling large collections of images. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our datasets, contributing to the overall quality of our AI models.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data and image annotation tasks, including identifying and labeling various aspects of real estate photos. You will maintain and organize datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency in labeling. Additionally, you will collaborate with our data science and engineering teams to understand specific annotation requirements. Your task will also involve validating collected data for completeness and accuracy, adhering to established guidelines. Moreover, you will report issues as they arise and suggest improvements to the workflow. In some cases, you may provide support in managing databases and updating spreadsheets.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A high attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility are essential. Integrity in delivering quality work with minimal supervision is necessary. Self-driven individuals with a strong sense of hustle and ambition are preferred. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is vital.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in image annotation tools and software is a must. Familiarity with photographic elements such as lighting, color, and composition is also required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines are essential. Proficiency in office productivity and task management software, including Google Sheets and Excel, is desired. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion is also necessary. Previous experience in data annotation or similar tasks is an asset.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time position that requires working on-site, 6 days a week. You should be willing to relocate to Gurgaon, India, by January 2024. However, your exact work schedule will depend on your location and performance.

Our competitive salary package includes a base pay of ₹15,00,000 per annum, commensurate with market standards for top talent.
