Overview: Our organization is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to serve as an Educational Guidance Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding students in making informed decisions about their educational and career goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling support and advice to students and their families regarding academic courses, programs, and admissions processes.
  • Work closely with students to identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations, and develop personalized plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout their educational journey.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in education and career development, and incorporate this knowledge into your work with students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations to expand opportunities for students and provide additional support services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in educational counseling or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educators.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
