About the Business Management Analyst Role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the stable operation of respective departments within Global Corporate & Investment Banking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Oversight
    • Support the Head of GCIB in developing business strategy.
    • Lead the implementation of global and/or regional initiatives and business strategy.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor departmental financial performance and assess against projected targets/thresholds.
    • Support the Head and Directors/Team Leads to achieve financial targets.
    • Track departmental revenue and expense budget with Finance team partnership.
    • Manage MIS and initiate periodical updates/reporting with HQ and regional onshore teams.
    • Analyze research material and develop financial models/projections to recommend new initiatives/improvements.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders.
    • Work with overseas onshore branches and Head Office to develop strategies for business growth.
    • Support existing/future stakeholders on ad-hoc basis, including business trip logistics/meeting arrangements.
    • Partner with General Affairs department to facilitate events/enhance office work environment/corporate culture.
  • Team Leadership
    • Act as a role model/team member and adhere to company policies/guidelines.
    • Support/coach/guide junior team members on complex issues.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Monitor business risk profiles and lead report/resolution.
    • Set up governance framework for newly established team.
    • Support policy development/updating to align with regulations.
    • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement/support implementation.
    • Support internal/external audits/documentation preparation.
    • Maintain good working knowledge of GCC industry trends/products/relevant laws/regulations.
