Job Title: Procurement Specialist
About the Role:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchase orders and requisitions, handling procurement processes, and maintaining records of goods ordered and received. This role will also involve negotiating prices and contracts, ensuring supplier deliveries in accordance with project schedules, and liaising between suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management
- Strong Communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal teams
- Proficiency in Procurement processes and techniques
- Negotiating and managing supplier contracts
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 Years Experience in the civil engineering or construction industry is an advantage
Requirements:
- Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems
