Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in process excellence and quality management to oversee the end-to-end quality assurance of mortgage-related processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to client and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.

  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead a team of quality professionals to ensure high-quality delivery standards and provide coaching and mentoring to help them grow in their careers.
  • Process Audits: Oversee regular audits of mortgage-related processes such as loan origination, processing, underwriting, servicing, or foreclosure to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze quality trends and collaborate with operations/training teams to develop performance improvement plans that drive business results.
  • Quality Standards: Develop, review, and update quality guidelines and checklists to ensure alignment with client expectations and compliance requirements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present quality dashboards, RCA reports, and improvement initiatives to internal and client stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in process excellence, quality management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Mortgage Process Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mortgage processes, including loan origination, servicing, and foreclosure.
  • Quality Tools and Methodologies: Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, RCA, and CAPA.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
  • Social Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
