About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems.

  • 70% Support: Utilize your technical expertise to resolve complex customer/field technical escalations from various teams.
  • 30% Development: Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your expertise in Java and Spring Boot to identify and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Develop tools and techniques to facilitate Root Cause Analysis using data available on platform and by digging deep into code base.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Product management team to identify and implement backlog requirements which could add value to the product.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type role. Preferably in escalations team.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer taking care of complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issue.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and passion for problem solving.
