Backend Expert Wanted

We're seeking a highly skilled backend engineer with 8-10 years of experience in designing and developing scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js, specifically the NestJS framework, as well as proficiency in TypeScript. They should also be familiar with GraphQL API design and implementation.

This role requires strong architectural skills across monolithic and microservices-based systems. The engineer will work on Azure cloud architecture, including Container Apps, and ensure high performance and scalability. They will also be responsible for implementing Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures, experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets. They should be able to deliver maintainable code with high unit test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js (NestJS)
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs
  • Architect and optimize backend systems on Azure Container Apps
  • Implement Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines
  • Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures
  • Ensure high unit test coverage for all code developed
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred)
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning)
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets
  • Ability to deliver maintainable code with high unit test coverage
