As a seasoned Senior Software Engineer, you will lead and deliver multiple development projects with precision and timeliness. Your expertise in Node.js and Express.js will guide the team through architecture, design, and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and execute project objectives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable specs.
  • Mentor junior developers, contributing to team growth and onboarding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to build, test, and maintain web applications that meet industry standards.
  • Develop and implement robust solutions, features, and unit tests that uphold exceptional quality.
  • Engage in peer reviews and promote coding best practices within the team.
  • Design and optimize integrations between services for enhanced performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support for critical systems.
  • Contribute to process improvements and advocate for modern engineering practices across the organization.

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Proven expertise in Node.js and experience leading engineering efforts.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of agile development workflows (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with multi-threaded systems, concurrency, and backend performance tuning.
  • Excellent debugging and performance profiling skills.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and service-oriented architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-performing teams.
  • Clear communicator who values clarity, documentation, and team alignment.
