Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tender Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the end-to-end tendering process, including proposal development, compliance review, and submission.

The successful candidate will work closely with our internal teams to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials for high-quality technical and commercial proposals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements.
  • Reviewing tender documents and identifying compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and tender experts to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.
  • Drafting and structuring high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects.
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials, and standard bid documents.
  • Tracking and monitoring relevant opportunities from government bodies, corporates, and international organizations.
  • Ensuring timely submission of proposals and post-submission follow-up with clients and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Relevant qualification (e.g., degree or certification) in a related field.
  • At least 2-6 years of experience in tender management, preferably in climate change and sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits, or renewable energy projects.
