Procurement Operations Director

The Procurement Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, from strategic sourcing to contract management. This key role ensures the company's supply chain operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain costs, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor market trends, geopolitical risks, and supply disruptions to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Key Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years in procurement, logistics, and international trade in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Manufacturing Industry

Skills:

  • Negotiation and Vendor Management: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills are essential for this role.
  • Global Sourcing: Expertise in global sourcing, customs regulations, and trade compliance is critical.
  • ERP and SCM Software: Hands-on experience with ERP and supply chain management software is necessary.
  • International Shipping: Knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade finance, and international shipping documentation is required.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and optimize global supply chain operations is essential.
