Job Description

Oracle Applications Database Administrator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, security, backup, and recovery policies of Oracle databases.

Our ideal candidate is an expert in Oracle server software and related products, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and upgrades.

Additionally, they should have strong monitoring and maintenance skills, particularly with application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials are also required.

Other desired skills include PL/SQL and Linux scripting expertise, as well as knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades: Ensure seamless integration of Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor and maintain application-related products to prevent downtime.
  • Database Administration: Design, implement, secure, back up, and recover Oracle databases efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical assistance and consultation to development teams to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle server software and related products.
  • Strong understanding of database administration, including design, implementation, security, backup, and recovery policies.
