Job Overview:

This role requires a seasoned Oracle database administrator to lead large-scale migrations across various cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex database migrations, with a proven track record of success.

About the Job:

  • Prioritize and oversee end-to-end database migration projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement migration strategies, methodologies, and best practices for zero/near-zero downtime and high availability/disaster recovery.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners, to ensure seamless integration and successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as cloud-native database solutions in AWS and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with data purging, retention policies, and compliance for regulated environments.
  • BE/B Tech, B Sc, MCA/BCA degree or equivalent, with excellent communication and project management skills.
