Financial Services Specialist - Fund Accounting

We seek highly skilled and motivated candidates to join our team as a Financial Services Specialist in Fund Accounting. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Reporting: Prepare daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds by collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts, utilizing advanced data visualization tools to refresh and review the report.
  • Cash Management: Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting. Adjust manual forecast data for new deals and other uncertain cash flows based on latest information.
  • Proposals and Instructions: Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within fund structures, instructing them to make additional cash movements as required. Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers.
  • Collaboration: Close collaboration with the treasury team, including daily meetings to discuss cash management topics, such as what's happened in the day, what to consider for next few days, and medium term investor cash flow planning.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA)
  • 9+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably managing/leading employees for 2-3 years
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identifying ways to enhance processes, procedures, or outcomes that benefit the organization
  • Ability to prioritize a large workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
