Engineering Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of engineering scope and work plans for projects. This includes ensuring the adequacy of scopes, budgets, and schedules while also reviewing and approving engineering designs and deliverables.

  • Support in the preparation of engineering scope and work plans for projects, including calculations, drawings, estimates, resource allocation, and reports.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations for structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry elements, and review fabrication drawings and connection designs as per relevant civil standards and applicable codes.
  • Prepare and check standard engineering documents, 3D models, design guides, specifications, statements of qualifications, conceptual designs, and material take-offs for accuracy to project scope.
  • Review and approve lists of engineering designs and deliverables, emphasizing safety aspects and quality norms.
  • Support department development activities in design engineering, including the review of standard documents, preparation of design guides, specifications, and statements of qualifications, to bring in value engineering and cost optimization practices.
  • Address issues and risks related to engineering deliverables and implement required mitigation actions.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent is preferred. A master's in structural engineering is an advantage.
  • 12-15 years of experience in engineering in refinery, petrochemical, oil, gas, and other heavy industries.
  • Past experience as lead engineer in at least two projects, each with more than 5000 hours of discipline work.
  • Site exposure is advantageous.
