Design Engineer - CAD

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering to join our team of passionate innovators.

  • Create 3D models and assemblies in CATIA 3DX (V6).
  • Perform hand calculations and preliminary sizing for design feasibility.
  • Use basic FEA to check design integrity.
  • Conduct stack-up analysis for tolerance and fit.
  • Design moulds, tools, and fixtures for manufacturing.
  • Work with teams to define requirements and deliver design solutions.
  • Document all design processes and changes.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in CATIA with strong mechanical design background, including hand calculations and preliminary sizing.
  • Experienced in FEA and stack-up analysis; knowledgeable in mould, tool, and fixture design.
  • Familiar with composite manufacturing and machining.
  • Solid understanding of aerodynamics and aircraft structures under static and dynamic loads.
  • Product development experience with DFM/DFA principles.
  • Skilled in ENOVIA, Teamcenter, or similar PDM/PLM systems.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
