Production Support Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Production Support expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in General Insurance systems, including Motor Insurance, Health Insurance, Fire Insurance, and Claims Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, stability, and performance of insurance applications and platforms. They will collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide L2/L3 production support for insurance applications across Motor, Health, Fire, and Claims domains.
  2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  3. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
  4. Maintain and enhance core policy issuance systems and workflows.
  5. Ensure compliance with SLAs, audit requirements, and data security standards.
  6. Document support processes, incident logs, and knowledge base articles.
  7. Participate in release management, UAT support, and post-deployment validations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in Production Support within the General Insurance domain.
  2. Strong functional knowledge of Motor, Health, Fire Insurance, and Claims workflows.
  3. Hands-on experience with policy issuance systems and insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, TCS BaNCS, or similar).
  4. Proficiency in incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and monitoring solutions.
  5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
  2. Insurance certifications (e.g., III, CII) are a plus.
