Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the position of Lead Software Engineer. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions that drive business growth and enable relevant insights from available data sets.

The role requires a strong understanding of data ingestion, aggregation, processing, and analysis using various tools and techniques. The successful candidate will have experience with enterprise business intelligence platforms, data integration tools, and streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark Streaming.

Key responsibilities include performing data ingestion, aggregation, processing to drive and enable relevant insights from available data sets, partnering with various teams on data needs/requirements in order to deliver data solutions that generate business value, manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources, identifying innovative ideas and delivering proof of concepts, prototypes to deliver against the existing and future needs, integrating & unifying new data assets which increase the value proposition for customers and enhance existing solutions and services.

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and architectures.
  • Analyze large volumes of transaction and product data to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with enterprise business intelligence platforms and data integration tools.
  • Proficiency in data mining, machine learning algorithms, and tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
