Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Cuisine to lead our culinary team and drive excellence in food quality and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and scheduling, to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure consistency in menu offerings and exceptional customer experience.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings and service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in an international luxury brand.
- Maldives work experience is preferred.
- Proficient in English, with the ability to speak in Dhivehi preferred.
- Sound knowledge of MICROS.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Outgoing personality, excellent leadership and communication skills, flexible working hours, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
