Electronics Design Expert Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Expert to drive the development of our next-generation automotive audio system. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.

This is a challenging role that requires technical expertise in recommending and proposing the right electronic audio components, including audio amplifiers, microphones, audio ADC, audio DSP, PMIC, speaker interface, digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc), ANC, and RNC design. Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100, is also required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with acoustic measurement instruments, audio data acquisition, analysis systems, and Audio Precision. Additionally, they will be able to work proactively with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology road map, and support HW Engineering group during advanced design phases, system architecture definitions, and ECU development/qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the electronics architecture and component selection/decision for the next generation automotive audio system.
  • Select and recommend next-generation semiconductor solutions for automotive audio, circuit/PCB designing, and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems.
  • Work closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer, and Buyer/purchasing to ensure that chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Recommend and propose electronic audio components, including audio amplifiers, microphones, audio ADC, audio DSP, PMIC, speaker interface, digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc), ANC, and RNC design.
Requirements
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural role.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing.
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing, and certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive area (OEM, TIER1, TIER2).
  • Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP, and MCUs.
  • Knowledge of safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NAP, and Security regulations would be a plus.

The ability to collaborate and work with global teams spread across different regions and time zones is essential for this role.
